This remodel spotlight is a great example of working creatively within existing space. We were excited to work with this client for a third time! Here's a look at what we did, including a look at the before and after photos and floor plans.
It was a pleasure to work with this family on their first major remodeling project. Their wish was to open up the previously divided dining and kitchen area to create a lighter and brighter kitchen for their growing family. Their home was built in the 1930's and had gone through a series of previous renovations and the owners were excited to put their own stamp on it!
Every year we like to share the news when color authority, Pantone announces the color of the year. Their choice is always carefully chosen to reflect what’s happening in the world and this was first year in their 23-year history where they decided to create a brand-new shade rather than choosing one of their existing colors.
This project spotlight is another terrific example of a kitchen remodel within an existing footprint. Like many other homeowners, our clients decided it was time to make some updates to their kitchen after spending so much extra time at home over the past year. The current layout worked well so our design focused on transforming the existing kitchen with materials and fixtures to better suit our client's preferred aesthetic. Here's a look at what we did, starting with the before and after photos.
We were delighted to work with this Grand Rapids family to remodel their kitchen and dining room utilizing their existing footprint. This project just goes to show that you don't always have to take things down to the studs in order to refresh the look of a space.
Small changes can have a big impact on a space. This bathroom remodel is a great example of how making a few key updates can completely refresh the overall look of a space. Let's take a look at what we did, starting with the before and after photos.
We enjoyed remodeling this condo bath in Grand Rapids for our clients who were looking to create a space in warm earthy tones with a mission style aesthetic. Let's take a look at what we did, starting with the before photo and floor plan.
Home will always be where the heart is, that’s for sure. And everyone has certainly had the opportunity to spend more time at home for the past year and a half. Families have adapted to lifestyle changes and created makeshift spaces to work and learn from home and with each passing month it becomes more evident which spaces can go the distance in a multifunctional capacity and which cannot. As homeowners take a harder look at what’s working, what’s not and what’s missing within their home, we are seeing a trend toward remodeling spaces that are actually outside of the kitchen. Let’s take a look at some of these spaces.
A bulkhead is a section of ceiling that has been dropped and boxed-in or enclosed. It’s not uncommon to have bulkheads in your kitchen, bathroom or basement. Clients frequently ask us about bulkheads and want to understand their purpose and here’s our answer.
