1. Utilize what you have

Updating your bathroom doesn't always mean you have to make dramatic changes to the layout and replace all the existing elements. In fact it is quite the contrary for this bathrooms upgrade. In the case of this bathroom no changes were made to the layout and the existing toilet and tub being in good condition remain.

2. Focus on your finishes

With no changes being made to the existing layout and larger fixtures, the main focus for this remodel was upgrading the finishes. New StarMark cherry cabinets were added with an Accord door style and Toffee Stain. The old countertop has been replaced with a Cambria Quartz countertop in Torquay with a  round edge treatment for added style.

3. Add eye catching details

The materials used all come together beautifully within this space. When choosing materials for a space be sure that each compliments one another. Add details that are fun and reflect your personality.  The homeowners of this space chose to use alternating tile patterns in the shower and in the back splash of the sink. For a designer look the fixtures and hardware were matched in a brushed nickel finish.
