Connect Call – When you first reach out to Thompson Remodeling via phone or our website, you have questions—even if that question is, “When can we start?” or “How do we begin?” During this 15-minute phone consultation, we’ll ask you where you are on your remodeling journey, answer your current questions, and if it is the right time, we’ll schedule an in-home visit.
Home Visit – This event is about discovering what’s important to you, so we take our first visit to your home very seriously. It’s important that we understand you and your home, so our talented Project Designers will ask a lot of questions to learn your story. Everyone who will be impacted by this potential remodeling project should be at this 90 minute Home Visit so that all voices can be heard from the outset.
Project Investment Range – We don’t begin designing a project until we have agreed on on a project investment amount. Your priorities are key to creating an extraordinary design at any budget, so we take the time to discover what you need and strategize our approach. When we all agree on the prioritized project goals and project investment range we will formalize our exclusive working relationship with our Zero Dollar Design Agreement.
Discovery Trip – During the Discovery Trip, we’ll take pictures, precise measurements, and uncover the existing condition of your home. The design phase requires a large time commitment, during which you will work with our expert Project Designers on the vision for your home. Depending on the size and complexity of a project, this can be a multi-week process.
Design Reveal – The Design Reveal is exciting for both you and our team. We model the areas of your home that will be impacted by the remodeling project in three dimensions so that you can visualize the end result. Many times, customers enter into a Remodeling Agreement at this time, and we can begin actualizing the Design we’ve created together.
Approval Meeting – Sometimes the Design Reveal sparks ideas that allow us to collaborate on an even better solution. This meeting allows us to get together to communicate on revisions to the design and confirm the remodeling plan. At this point, we enter a Remodeling Agreement, which transitions your project into our pre-production process.
