This week we found out that we won a Regional CotY award from The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for a recent master bath remodel we completed! What's even more exciting is that this is the second year in a row that we have won in the Residential Bath $50,001-$75,000 category.
The Thompson Remodeling team is honored to be recognized again by NARI in this category. Our design team worked closely with the homeowners to create a master bath remodel that would provide maximum functionality, the best use of space, and a combination of modern and classic aesthetics. We share this award with our clients who had such a great vision for their perfect master bath!
Contractors from seven regions around the country vie for CotY Awards each year. Judging is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty by an impartial panel of industry experts. Regional CotY Winners will now advance as finalists at the national level. Please keep your fingers crossed for us as we compete to win the National award for this master bath remodel.
About the Winning Project
To transform this small, outdated bath the Thompson Remodeling design team reconfigured an existing walk-in closet and bathroom into a spacious, four-piece bath.

This master bathroom is exactly what the clients envisioned. We transformed it from cramped and dated to classically modern and grand. By smartly selecting materials and finishes we were able to combine classic and modern aesthetics and also stay within their budget.
The vanity and fixtures are all classic and the tub and faucet adds a pop of modern. The mixture of tile sizes compliments the open floor area.
Now, the homeowners have their own bathtub and oversized shower for bathing. There’s plenty of space for both to be using the vanity at the same time. We also vastly improved the closet space by moving it outside of the bathroom. And even though they lost a walk-in closet they gained two reach in closets!
Beautiful two-person shower with warm toned ceramic tile surround and pebble tile flooring. Shower seat and niches add convenience for storing necessities.
