Large Projects Are Happening In a Horrible Economy

I want to credit Builder Track with some amazing information.  Even with all the horrible economic news out there I heard an astounding figure this past week.   There was $17.5M of project in excess of $50k+ in our target area (Kent County) YTD 2009.  If you are a tradesperson or builder who just happens to read www.bensbetter.biz then I'd like to send you to this resource that you need yourself.  http://www.buildertrackreports.com/Home_Page.php

If you are a homeowner standing on the sidelines not ready to love where you live here's my encouragement.  Others are doing it!  Others are doing major renovations...look, it's the Jones, and they are ahead of you.  Okay, that was certainly tongue in cheek, but maybe that's what all of us need.  Recently, I read a quote from a failing business and he said something like, "You just cannot run a business in Michigan."  That kind of talk, I submit to you, is what put him out of business.

Last night I was reading a back issue of the Business Review and there is a group of Michigan Business Leaders that employ over 300,000 people and have a combined annual revenue of $1 Trillion.

If you're stuck in a big pile of muck it's time for you and I to lift ourselves up, and get moving!  $17 Million dollars of remodeling is passing us by.  There is always a way to accomplish what you're after.  That's what this economy is teaching me.
