Get smart with latest kitchen technology

I love reading about the latest gadgets and gear for the home and recently I stumbled onto a few interesting articles on innovative kitchen technology. Electronics and appliances have come a long way. Who would have thought that we would be able to cook a meal using a cell phone back in the 80’s? Now you can brew coffee and turn on your crock pot with your smart phone. Or, if you are really busy and don’t have time to cook, you can print out a snack on your 3D food printer. What? Sounds crazy, but it’s true. Here’s a rundown on some of the coolest kitchen technology that is now available.

5 New Kitchen Technology Gadgets We Love

  1. Smarter Wi-Fi Coffee Machine. This coffee machine has built-in grinder, which allows you to grind and brew your own coffee from your smart phone while you are still in bed. With its companion app you can also adjust the strength and taste to you liking. We’ll have to wait a little while before it’s available in the states, but you can put your name on a waiting list today.
  2. PicoBrew Zymatic allows you to brew your own craft beer in 4 hours! With this Wi-Fi appliance you can choose one of its 100 recipes or use your own. Fortunately, you can buy one online today if you like!
  3. Samsung Slide-in Induction Range. This new oven has the ability to cook two dishes at different temperatures in the same oven! Now that’s great kitchen technology. It also has a full induction cook top with Virtual Flame Technology, which is LED lighting that makes it appear like gas cooking but with the faster and better control of induction.
  4. XYZ Printing’s 3D Food Printer can print dough for pastries or cookies in fun shapes and designs. The machine prints one item at a time allowing you to decide exactly how many treats you want to bake. The printer isn’t available yet, but is expected sometime this year.
  5. Belkin Crock Pot WeMo Slow Cooker. Chili and stew lovers rejoice! Go out and get yourself one of these crock pots that allows you to adjust time and temperature by using the WeMo app.
