Introducing Redend Point, Sherwin Williams' 2023 Color of the Year

Posted by Ben Thompson on 09.22.22

This is the time of year when the color authorities begin to make their announcements for color of the year and one of the first is Sherwin Williams who has crowned Redend Point, a blush/beige with pink undertones, as their pick for 2023.  This warm neutral is inspired by the natural clays found in the deserts and is a welcome change from the cool grays and whites that have been so popular in recent years.

Redend Point is said to create the perfect canvas for relaxing and enjoying the comforts of home. It invites us to slow down, be present in the moment, and embrace a sense of restoration and renewed focus.  This shade blends well with wood tones, natural fibers, and plants and creates a beautiful contrast with greens, purples, and blues.
