Paint companies and color authorities have started announcing their color of the year selections for 2021. One of the first to be named is Sherwin Williams’ Urbane Bronze - a natural, calming, and serene shade of earthy brown.  It seems the experts believe that we need to surround ourselves with hues that will help us to relax.  Given the year that 2020 has shaped up to be, we couldn’t agree more!

Shades of gray have been popular for years and now it’s time for new neutral. Urbane Bronze can be incorporated into your home as a grounding anchor shade that will blend well with wood, stone, and metal finishes.  Plus, it offers great versatility for use in both traditional and modern interiors.

Here are some ideas on areas where you could use Urbane Bronze to compliment your existing decor.

  • As a contrast in a room with lighter wood tones – either furnishings or cabinet finishes.
  • In a kitchen or bathroom with light gray or white countertops like Carrara marble.
  • In an area with wrought iron or other weathered metals such as your entry way or bathroom.
